The Harmonized System commodity database and Explanatory Notes contains, in English and French, a list of about 200 000 products along with their 6 digit Harmonized System codes, the HS Nomenclature (2002 and 2007 versions), the HS Explanatory Notes (3rd edition-2002 and 4th edition-2007), the Classification Opinions, a description of the amendments to the HS implemented as on 1st January 2007 and, the correlation tables between 2002 and 2007 versions of the HS.
You can do “multi-criteria” searches by keyword or HS codes, print your research, create personal notes and cross navigation between commodities, Explanatory Notes, and Classification Opinions.

The online database is updated twice a year following the Harmonized System Committee decisions.
